Zensho

Zensho is a window into the phenomenon of what the ancient Masters attempted to pass on to their students. Instead of quoting historical facts or philosophical cliches, you will find the dialogue of a modern day American Zen Master during training sessions in the Dojo. The format of the material is designed to help the student make the transitions necessary to go from beginner, focused only on the physical, to Master, one who has elevated his practice of Karate Do to the artistic level. To understand Zen we must train as the Masters did. The training techniques put forth here prepare the student for the practice of Karate Do as a performance art, creates a foundation of technical skills required, as well as philosophical understanding. This progression invites the student to see as the Masters saw, think as they thought and express themselves as Masters in every event of their lives.
