Typhoon Mk.IB: The Typhoon Mk.IB is a unique heavy fighter that saw its first combat during the Battle of Britain, and was also used in the later stages of the war but it changed its role from defensive to offensive and destroyed enemy ground vehicles with heavy cannon armament. The Mk.IB modification is armed with four 20mm cannons and could carry two 500-lb bombs, so it is quite effective against ground targets. Alternatively, it can be used as bomber-hunter thanks to a powerful engine and good climb rate.
