Ever since the abrupt termination of Project MKAtlantis in 1965 with the death of its director, M. Jaycee Pendragon, questions have been asked, but never answered... What was the ultimate goal of Project MKAtlantis? How did the CIA's MKUltra mind control experiments give rise to a plan to rediscover the fabled lost city of Atlantis? And why did their search focus on the Blake Plateau, an area just 75 miles off the Coast of South Carolina? Since all official records of Project MKAtlantis were destroyed in 1973 by order of then-CIA Director Richard Helms, Pendragon's journal of the Blake Plateau expedition became the focus of those seeking answers. Unfortunately, since his untimely death on the very eve of the expedition, the whereabouts of his journal remained a mystery. That is, until recently. More than 50 years after its disappearance, the journal was rediscovered, and is being published here for the first time, IN ITS ENTIRETY with a forward by Pendragon's friend and colleague, Octy Gath. The question many are asking now is, how much did Pendragon consign to his journal? Will it shed light on any of the questions surrounding Project MKAtlantis?
