Prehistoric plastic warriors from dimestores of the distant past have returned! This bag of 48 Tim Mee 'Cavemen' figure set is proudly manufactured in the United States, and includes 24 tan and 24 red figures for maximum play value. Four different figures include Cro-Magnons wielding a club, stone axe, and boulder along with a muscle-bound club-wielding Neanderthal. Figures stand up to 1.5 inches tall (40mm) and are approximately 1:40 scale. Made from fairly stiff HDPE plastic with medium detail and a little flashing. The Cro-Magnons were originally produced by 'Processed Plastic' (Tim Mee's parent company) in the 1970's while the Neanderthal joined the tribe sometime in the late 1980's or early 1990s. These figures harken back to a to a time before scientific facts got in the way of fun and cavemen came packed along with plastic dinosaurs for epic backyard prehistoric battles. For the Tribes' triumphant return to production, the manufacturer has restored the vintage 'Tim Mee Toys' logo that was retired decades ago and only recently returned along with the reissued Tim Mee Army Men in 2011.
