THIN YELLOW LINE follows an investigation into the illegal organ harvest and murder of a patient at John Sealy Hospital on the barrier island of Galveston off the Texas coast. Luke Donovan, a seasoned by-the-book FBI agent, reaches a turning point as he discovers he’s fallen in love with his chief suspect Dr. Jeanine Hunter; a mysterious young physician who has captivated him and may be smuggling organs to a South American crime lord. THIN YELLOW LINE is a story of her personal journey as a woman and as a physician. Along the way, she must address the demons of her past while having to trust a man who could send her to prison for the rest of her life. These characters try to form a relationship under the surveillance of the Justice Department. Dr. Hunter must endure life as a resident physician and survive the sinister world of narco-terrorism. Galveston Island with its rich history and tropical tumultuous weather, becomes as much of a character in the novel as its inhabitants.
