Fully illustrated by Jose J. Murguia, with photo essays and text by Mary J. Andrade, this book seeks to both instruct children in the traditions of the ancestral celebration and keep the tradition alive. Andrade has won The Mexican Silver Pen award for recognition of other work she has done about the Day of the Dead in Michoacan.
