The Towpath

The book was written by a writer for one of the Rochester newspapers. Lots of interesting history about the towns that were created with the development of the Erie Canal. There is a companion book. The Towpath is more than just a story of the old Erie Canal, fascinating ad that story is. It also is a story of the towns upon its banks, from Medina to Clyde, of their history, their legends and their lore.
