The Principles of Teaching Riding

This official Manual of the Association of British Riding Schools is recommended reading for teachers of all levels, for riding school proprietors, and for all those training for equestrian teaching examinations; there is also plenty of interest for pupils. All aspects of teaching are considered, ranging from practical considerations such as suitability of horses and ponies used within the riding school, use of facilities and equipment, to more philosophical points including developing a personal teaching style, and teaching different levels and abilities.
