Foxing (light stains) to endsheets and first few pages including title page which is SIGNED by Edward Gorey and in typical fashion, he has crossed out the printed name and personally written his name in his distinctive style. Dust jacket is good, price-clipped, and has some foxing to flaps. No jacket tears or chips.THERE IS A MUSTY ODOR TO BOOK, which may be mitigated by storing in a dry environment and/or by immersing in clean cat litter for a period of time. 1980 reissue of 1961 original.
