The Book of Elle: A Christian Science Fiction Novel

The war between Heaven and Satan has raged across time and space. After a crushing defeat in the Midwest, Satan retreats into a black hole just outside of Heaven. Despite his never ending study of the Bible, he can do nothing to stop the Holy Father's plan. Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom will have no end. Sensing God's judgment is about to befall him as written in the Book of Revelations, Satan decides to challenge the Almighty one last time. Learning from his experience with Job, Satan selects the not- so-righteous Commodore Elle Baker. Commodore Elle Baker is the commanding officer of the Eastern Fleet whose mission is to maintain order in the wilds of deep space. In control of a powerful fleet of impressive capability, there seems to be little in the universe that can threaten the Eastern Fleet. Her faith walk with Christ is put to the test as Elle is asked to find the missing Northern Fleet and instead confronts a storm in space, a phenomena that neither human or spirit can explain. Marooned on a hostile planet, Elle is befriended by a benign and prayerful native species where she is carried to a colony of humans struggling to survive day to day on the burning surface of Uz. Elle must now stand for Christ with nothing but her faith in the Holy Spirit to guide her. Elle finds that "when you have nothing, you have God." Overcoming her doubts, fears, and anger, Elle must find the faith to continue to follow God and save the lost colony before Satan is able to exact his revenge.
