Tatting

This book guides the beginner through all the basic techniques of tatting. There are sections on choosing equipment, how to read patterns, and on understanding tatting construction. A collection of 30 patterns, suitable for all abilities, includes edgings, inserts, mats, collars, and 3-dimensional projects such as baby bootees.The patterns incorporate all the basic techniques taught in the book as well as some decorative techniques. Some patterns use drawings as well as printed instructions, and all are accompanied by a photograph of the finished product.
