As a leader, you must make difficult decisions while attempting to keep your election pledges in the face of impending border conflicts, pervasive corruption, an economic crisis, and reform-desperate citizens. A nation in turmoil After a brutal civil war, Sordland emerged from a 20-year dictatorship in 1954. You take on the role of Anton Rayne, a charismatic young man who shocked everyone by becoming the leader of the party in power and winning the election to become the new President of Sordland. After living for decades under a traditionalist government, the populace is clamouring for democratic reforms. The political scene is changing, and the economy is in shambles. There are imminent military threats, and nearby superpowers are keeping a careful eye on the situation. Although you have the final say in matters as president, every decision you make has an effect.
