Ingredients: Star Anise, Cinnamon, Coriander Seed, Galangal, Ginger, Sugar, Permitted Food Enhancer E621, Clove, Spices
Recommendation: Apart from pig's trotters / pork belly, you can add hard-boiled egg and/or beancurd to your braised dish for a heartier option

Preparation
1 packet Song Fa Braised Spices
1 kg Pig's Trotter / Pork Belly
15g Garlic (bruised)
10g Shallot (bruised)
85-95g Dark Soya Sauce (approx. 4-5 soup spoons)
35g Light Soya Sauce (approx. 2 soup spoons)
1200ml water
Boil 1kg Pig's Trotters / Pork Belly for 5 mins
Rinse it to remove scum
Method
1. Add 1200ml of water, bruised garlic and shallot, dark soya sauce, light soya sauce into the pot
2. Add both sachets of Braised Spices into the pot
3. Add the Pig's Trotters / Pork Belly into the pot
4. Cook on high heat until it boils
5. Reduce to low heat and cover the pot with a lid
6. Simmer for 90 minutes, remove sachets and ready to serve
