No setup or special configuration is required, simply connect the input device(s) and output device(s), then start using it!The unit also has a built in, automatically adjusting amplifier. This means that you can use longer than normal HDMI cables running to the inputs. The built-in amplifier will then regenerate the HDMI signal before sending it to the outputs.
