These Super Eyepieces incorporate fold-down rubber eyecups, fully coated optics, and outstanding field correction. This 25mm 1.25" eyepiece is designed for high magnification lunar, planetary and deep sky observing, bringing out smal detail in the planets surfaces. 50 degree wide field of view is quite sharp and contrast is good. The field sharpness is improved and the viewing comfort is better than in Plossl eyepieces of the same focal length. Super eyepieces are the ideal choice for astronomers, looking for a low cost but good quality eyepiece. The somewhat longer eye relief makes them well suited for beginners. The lens edges are blackened to reduce internal reflections for higher contrast.Is warmly recommended for binoviewers. It also serves as a nice general utility eyepiece with a good transmission.
