The 1960s offered designers the opportunity to focus on new spaces: airport lounges and concourse, corporate headquarters with their lobbies and open-plan offices. This book documents the many, sometimes contradictory, trends in 1960s design, spanning the Bauhaus school of modernism, pop art, science fiction and the anti-design movement.
