Sharpie Fumes Serif

Sharpie Fumes Serif is the newest member of the Sharpie Fumes family. Back when I was in design school, B.C. before computers , we had to hand letter every layout we created. Between the marker fumes in creating these layouts, and the all nighters, we would get pretty loopy. I remember locking a fellow student in his rolling supply locker, and rolling him into the elevator at about 3 am, but I'll save that for another day. Sharpie Fumes Serif evolved from my early layouts, when a serif font was needed. This would be the rough version to flesh out an ad layout, before creating the finished comprehensive layout, or "comp". Later, in my career, I was able to approximate a serif font pretty quickly while concepting for different projects, and that's where Sharpie Fumes Serif and the related Sans and Mono versions came from. It'll give your work a nice, quirky handmade feel, and Sharpie Fumes Serif plays well with its compadres. Go ahead and give it a try.
