Video Analysis Assistant Pattern Waveform / Vector scope / Histogram S-1223F supports video analysis assistant patterns includes: Waveform (Y/Pb/Pr/R/G/B), Vector scope, Histogram (R/G/B/Y), to convert the digital video quality info (Luma, Color, Saturation, etc) to patterns and the patterns can be switched on/off individually, select display position (Up/Down/Left/Right), size, color and translucence. Embedded audio monitoring - Up to 16-ch meters with alert and select output S-1223F supports SDI-16ch and HDMI-8ch embedded audio meters display, with marks and audio abnormal alert info. Users can also select any 2 channels audio to output via 3.5mm socket or speakers. The audio meter pattern position can be selected from Up/Down/Left/Right and you can select to display only 2 channels, 8 channels and full 16 channels. Also scale markers, alert info and translucent of the audio meter pattern are selectable. UMD and Text-Tally Display TSL 3.1/4.0 Protocol S-1223F supports UMD and Text-Tally display of TSL 3.1/4.0 protocol, with 1-126 TSL address selection and Max 8 letters displayed. The UMD inputs via RS485 or RS232C port and outputs via RS485 port. 3DLUT Color Calibration Built-in De-Log LUTs and User LUT upload Support 17x17x17 3DLUT accurate color calibration. Use professional color analyzer (KONICA MINOLTA CA310 e.g.) and 3DLUT calibration software (SpectralCal CalMAN5 e.g.) to measure and generate 3DLUT cube file to upload to the monitor by USB stick. The monitor also has built-in camera logs to Rec 709 conversion LUTs, including Log-C, C-log, S-log2, S-log3, V-log, J-log1, RedLogFilm. You can import own 3DLUTs to monitor by USB stick. USB Firmware Upgrade S-1223F provides a standard USB port for firmware upgrade. Users can download the latest firmware file to a USB stick and directly insert into S-1223F monitor to upgrade, without PC connection. 3-color TALLY Light - RS485 input signal There are three colors for the Tally light: Red, Green and Yellow. Users can define the pins of RS485 port to control the TALLY lights. Waveform Y/Pb/Pr/R/G/B and single line The waveform is a pattern to measure and display the brightness and its distribution of every column of the input video, separates the Y, Cb, Cr, R, G, B channels and support single line waveform. You can select 0-1079 lines of the image, to display waveform of this single line. The color of waveform pattern can be selected from white, green and false color and display position can be selected from 4 corners and center in larger size, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted. Vector Scope The vector scope pattern is to visualize the chrominance of input video signal by the distribution of color in the image on a circular scale. It represents saturation as distance from the center of the circle and hue as the angle, in standard position around it. So you can see how saturated the image is and where the pixels in the image land on the color spectrum. The vector scope pattern is divided into 6 districts and stands for Red, Magenta, Blue, Cyan, Green and Yellow in different directions. The larger box stands for the color in 100% colorbar and the smaller box stands for 75% colorbar. The color of vector pattern can be selected from white, green and false color and display position can be selected from 4 corners and center in larger size, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted. Histogram R/G/B/Y parallel display The histogram is a bar graph that shows the distribution of R/G/B/Y(Luma) values in the image. The histogram is takes broadcast standard safety highest value as 100% and 107% as the real highest value. The R/G/B/Y distributions between 100% and 107% are considered as ineffective values in broadcast standard and marked in yellow to warn. The histogram pattern display position can be selected from 4 corners and the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted. Audio Meter Level - With alert info and select any 2 channels to output Support SDI & HDMI embedded audio meters display and 3G/HD-SDI displays 16-ch, SD-SDI and HDMI displays 8-ch. The audio meter is green and will turn yellow when exceeds -20dB and turn red when exceeds -9dB. You can also select any 2 channels audio to output via 3.5mm socket or speakers. The audio meters support audio abnormal alert info display, for example if the channel has no audio signal, the audio meter position will display "UNLOCKED" and if the channel has audio signal but no volume, it will display "MUTE". The audio meters can be selected to display only 2 channels or only 8 channels and support alert info on/off switch, markers on/off switch and display position can be selected from 4 corners, also the translucence of the pattern can be adjusted. GPI Interface and Control The RJ45 (RS485) port on the rear panel supports UMD control and GPI functions setting and control. There're 6 GPI pins and can be assign the following functions, by shorting with GND pin to enable the functions.
