Scott Addict RC 30 the newest and redesigned disc only race bike will surprise you with its totally clean look. With fully hidden cables the bike looks like it has nothing. No shifters, no brakes. There are no cables seen at the front and at the and of the bike. But even more absurd is the super-light and stiff HMX carbon frame. One of the most important features of all Addict RC is still its lightness.
The all-new Scott Addict RC 30 is designed to be light and fast sprint machine for reaching the top finish. With its Road Race geometry, it's focused more on racing, together with an ideal position for optimal power, enables you to develop your progress and take the biggest wins in sport. And the remarkably light and stiff HMX carbon frame becomes every climber's dream. Besides the discs, this Addict has also wider tyres, clearance for 28mm tyres. The ride will be more comfortable, safe, with better handling and you won't lose speed. A bottom bracket increases pedaling efficiency by effectively delivering power to the drivetrain rather than losing it to unwanted frame flex. As an excellent climber, Addict RC 30 is an excellent bike if you want a more aggressive position, direct handling and more speed up to the hill.

TECHNOLOGIES
OVERSIZED BOTTOM BRACKET
The Addict RC and Foil come with completely integrated cable routing for both mechanical and electronical shifting. This was achieved by our engineers without any compromise on shifting and braking quality or on the stiffness of the head tube. Furthermore, it is surprisingly easy for mechanics to change cables and maintain the bike.
SEAT CLAMP
Our new ultra-lightweight seat clamp weight just 12 gram and allows for a very carbon friendly clamp mechanism. This allowed us to save even more weight on the seat post (weight seat post:142gram).
AERO TUBE SHAPES
SCOTT’s patented airfoil design got applied to its main tubes (down tube, head tube, seat tube, seat post, seat stays) with the goal to optimizing the airflow and reduce the overall drag.
SANDWICH DROPOUTS
The Addict RC dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tube design that allows a simple and lightweight structure.
HOLLOW STRUCTURE
The complete frame set is built hollow and has a never seen clean inside to maximize the weight reduction.
