A collection of papers presented by historians at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, on riots and public violence in Ireland from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century. Some of the events covered include the Dublin Parliamentary Elections of 1613, Riots in Limerick from 1820 to 1900, the 1830s Tithe Riots, and the IRA Border Campaign, 1956-1962.
