Research in Parapsychology 1989

The 32nd annual convention, held in San Diego, covered a broad range of contemporary parapsychological topics. Nineteen original presentations of papers are abstracted here, in addition to a symposium devoted to examining different approaches to the target in psi research. Papers cover spontaneous psi experiences; random number generator and Ganzfeld experiments; the role of magicians in parapsychology; PK on living systems; EEG correlates of ESP; psi in relation to geomagnetism and the pineal gland; free-response ESP targets; ESP in relation to memory and academic achievement tests; meta-analyses of forced-choice precognition and displacement effects; and historical studies on the lives and contributions of Eileen Garrett and J.B.
