Welcome to the Paulist Bible Study Program and to this second unit on the Old Testament. In this unit you will study the historical and prophetic books of the Old Testament and learn about the history of Irael and Judah from the time of Saul, the first king, to the fall of Jerusalem and the Babylonian Exile. This workbook will serve as a reading guide to the Bible and to your companion text Reading the Old Testament by Lawrence Boadt. Each week it will point out what passages of the Bible you should read and what parts of the companion text are focused on these passages.
