Prima Taste Sauce Kit - Hainanese Chicken Rice 370g

KEY INFORMATION
Tender chicken served over fragrant rice cooked with chicken stock and pandan leaves, this delicious dish delight with its rich flavours. A ready-to-cook meal sauce kit.

PREPARATION
Cooking Steps:
• Step 1:
1. Fill stock pot with 2.5L of water, add Hainanese Chicken Rice Premix and bring to boil on high heat
2. Submerge chicken into the stock with its back facing up
3. Lower heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes
• Step 2:
1. Remove chicken from stock pot and chill in ice water for 15 minutes
2. Drain well, set aside chicken and chicken stock
• Step 3:
Mix rice, 610ml of chicken stock (from Step 2) and Hainanese Chicken Rice Fragrance Oil in rice cooker
• Step 4:
1. Stir rice gently after 5 minutes and continue cooking
2. When cooked, fluff rice gently with chopstick (while loosening rice, avoid the bottom of the rice cooker)
3. Leave at "keep warm" setting for 10 - 15 minutes
• Step 5:
1. Put whole packet of Sesame Soya Sauce Oil in a pot of boiling water and boil for 2 minutes
2. Remove from heat, cut open packet and pour into a bowl
3. Set aside at room temperature
• Step 6:
1. Chop chicken into parts
2. Arrange on platter, over a bed of sliced cucumber
3. Pour Sesame Soya Sauce Oil over the chicken and garnish with coriander leaves
4. Serve with warm rice
5. In separate condiment bowls, serve chili sauce, chicken rice ginger sauce and chicken rice dark soya sauce as dips
• Variation:
1. May use chicken pullet for tender, juicy chicken or other parts of chicken such as chicken leg or chicken breast
2. Cooking time may vary for different chicken parts

• Store in a cool and dry place
• After opening, keep pack refrigerated and use within 3 days
