Preparing for Pressure was written to provide solutions for the vast majority of tennis athletes that are able to thrive on the practice court only to wilt under game day pressure. Navy Seals say “We don’t rise to the occasion...we fall to the level of our training.” In tournament pressure the same holds true. Competitive tennis is a game of “keep away” not a game of “catch.” Players would be wise to practice in the manner they’re expected to perform versus simply hitting.
