Perspectives on Human Occupation: Theories Underlying Practice

Chapter content spans OT’s conceptual models, frameworks, and paradigms, as well as the theoretically-based guidelines that are the foundation for practice. The contributors are the theorists, educators, and practitioners who developed the perspectives presented, and who incorporate their most recent work in their areas of specialization. Introductions to the contributor(s) open each chapter to enable readers to see them as real people actively working in the field. Case studies at the end of each chapter enhance understanding of often abstract theoretical concepts and demonstrate how they apply to real-world practice.
