This book began as a simple update of Pattern Devices for Handweavers, first published in 1981. In the process it became a thoroughly reorganized and greatly expanded major revision, which has developed into an entirely new book. It is for handweavers at all levels of expertise. Beyond the basics, applications of uncommon facets of weaving are offered to inspire creative weavers to explore exciting concepts.
