Orcs Must Die! 2 is an indie, action and tower defense game developed by Robot Entertainment. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Orcs Must Die!, where players take on the role of a hero tasked with defending their fortress from waves of invading orcs and other monsters.Plot The story starts a few days after the end of the original game. The rifts have been closed and the magical Order is dead, meanwhile, the War Mage is suddenly pulled into a new battle with a horrifying mob of orcs. He has a powerful companion in Sorceress, a former war mage with a dubious reputation, responsible for the destruction of the Order. Gameplay Orcs Must Die! 2 features various gameplay possibilities, including single-player, co-op, and endless modes. In single-player mode, players must navigate through a series of levels, each with its unique challenges and enemies. In cooperative play, two friends can team up to defend the fortress together. Endless mode challenges players to survive as long as possible against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Although the gameplay style is similar to the prequel, where players must use a combination of weapons, traps, and spells to defeat waves of enemies as they attempt to breach the player's stronghold, there are several new mechanics not found in the original game. These are new traps and weapons, such as the Boom Barrel Dispenser and the Wall Blades, which provide players with more options to defeat their enemies.
