It's an HDMI Extender and Splitter in one giving you four RJ45 output ports on both the transmitter and receiver units. The Ocean Matrix 10HMIP0004 supports LPCM 2 channel audio as well as 38-56KHz IR to control video sources.A complete 10HMIP0004 (transmitter/sender) and 11IPHM0003 (receiver) is capable of transmitting HDMI signals up to 394 feet over a single Cat5e/6 cable. The transmitter has 4 outputs to support 4 receivers.
