Notes on a tense planet

We drown in books, we drown in series and TV shows. Despite this, we can only read one book and watch one program at the same time. We have been able to multiply everything around us, but we have not multiplied ourselves. There is one self for each of us. We are all much smaller than the Internet, and in order to enjoy our lives, perhaps we should stop thinking about the things that we will not be able to read, see, say or do, and perhaps we should start thinking about a way to enjoy the world within our simple limits.
