Nine Short Stories

A collection of short fiction stories that explore the inner workings of socialization, self appraisal, and the construction of personal morality. Of the stories depicted, some include: "Baboon" ...A young girl passing through a remote village assists in an unusual ritual. "Edward Church" ...A burn victim deals with the effects of isolation and disfigurement in the aftermath of his life-changing injury. "Turf" ...A washed-up fighting dog is forced to serve as a kind of punching bag, or "bait dog," to instill aggression in other dogs as part of their training.
