Mr DRILLER DrillLand is the 5th instalment of the game series of Mr Driller. It is the second established game after Mr Driller A on the Nintendo platform. The player Monitors and handles one out of seven characters to reach underneath every stage besides destroying coloured blocks that can connect and construct chain reactions. Mr DRILLER Drilland is split into five modes based on amusement park appeals, each with its new mechanical systems, such as foes, articles, and block types. Project Driller, the series' internal development team, created this game. Go Shiina composed the soundtrack, which was his final Mr Driller project. Shin Mr Driller, a 4-person multiplayer prototype game ushered at the Nintendo media briefing, was planned for a fall 2002 release in Japan. Following its debut at the 2002 Tokyo Game Show, during which it was given its final title of Drill Land, it was later delayed until the winter of that year. The game supports the Super Nintendo - Game Boy Advance connection cable, allowing the player to import Mr Driller A's "Bacteria" pets into the game. Gameplay: Mr Driller Drill Land is a puzzle video game in which the player tries to control one of seven characters as they attempt to reach the bottom of the stage by trying to destroy coloured block formations that litter the playfield. The player does have an oxygen metre on the right side of the screen which constantly uses up as the stage develops — collecting tiny air capsules found inside the location would then refill 20% of the player's hydrogen while trying to destroy brown "X-Blocks" will decimate 20%. Unsubstantiated blocks will fall, potentially crushing the player.
