Montelago Pro AOE

Montelago Pro was inspired by the logotype of the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The script lettering style had such a unique and dynamic style to it, with flared out capitals and a low stance lowercase. I was drawn into the challenge of re-creating a full typeface of this style, complete with a restrained capitals version, and a flare version with true to form lengthy capitals. Definitely a typeface with capitals to be used in moderation! Montelago Pro combines the standard Montelago font with the Flare capitals as a swash feature and contextual alternate with OpenType functionality, an extended language character set and easier access to a handful of stylistic alternates. --- WHAT'S INCLUDED: Fonts are provided in TTF & OTF formats. Both formats function identically, so install whichever format you prefer for your needs. Extensive language support . Having lived in Las Vegas, the Mirage logo is something that was begging to be made into something anyone could type with and enjoy everytime I drove by the casino. Creating this typeface came with ease and was a joy to develop. I hope you enjoy playing with it just as much as I had fun making it.
