The Metabo SSW 18 LTX 800 BL 8.0 Kit 18V 1/2" Square Brushless Impact Wrench is German engineered to be powerful and compact. Metabo's 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor technology runs cooler and maximizes the energy transfer from the battery to the spindle, creating highest efficiency for extended run time, maximum continuous power, and longer motor life. The integrated APS (Automatic Power Shift) assists in loosening screws and prevents them from falling off. The tool features a thumb wheel speed selection, offering the choice between 12 speed/torque levels. Its maximum torque of 590 ft. lbs/800 Nm, release torque of 885 ft. lb. / 1,200 Nm, and an impact rate of 3,300 BPM makes the tool the ideal solution for a wide range of fastening applications. The robust die-cast aluminum gear housing offers durability through optimum heat dissipation. Its slim design with rubber coated grip provides comfort and control during extended use. The two integrated LED work lights illuminate the work area for ease of operation in dark spaces. The scope of delivery includes the tool packaged in a metaBOX 145, (2) 8.0Ah LiHD battery packs, ASC 55 charger, and a belt hook. Every Metabo battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life. Proprietary ULTRA-M™ technology allows the tool, battery, and charger to communicate with each other for optimized performance. Single Cell Protection in conjunction with Overload Protection prevents over-charge/over-discharge to the individual battery cells and extends service life of both the tool and battery pack by preventing damage from overheating. A fully charged battery pack will deliver 100% of its power in temperatures ranging from 5°F to 122°F. The battery contains integrated impact and skid resistant rubber to stand up to the toughest jobsite conditions, as well as a 4-LED capacity indicator to display the remaining charge. The patented air-cooled battery charging system charges up to 30% faster for less downtime.
