Capcom on the other hand, gives you such interesting characters like: Arthur, Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Dante, Frank West, Firebrand, Jedah Dohma, Mike Haggar, Monster Hunter, Morrigan Aensland, Nathan Spencer, Nemesis, Ryu, Sigma, Strider Hiryu, X and Zero. Infinity Stones will customize characters with unique abilities and powerful effects which are capable of completely turning tides of the battle. How do they work? There are two variations in which stones can be used - surge and storm, both give your character different abilities depending on what type of stone you are currently using (there are power, time, space, reality, mind and soul). Surge of Time gem allows you to teleport you at a short distance while reality surge creates a homecoming projectile which follows your enemy. However much more interesting and game changing is the storm. For example storm ability of the mind gem is to refill the hyper combo gauge to maximum, while space storm traps the opponent inside the Space Infinity Storm's box on their last positions, thus unable to Tag-In with their teammates and go to other positions. Infinity gems are important elements of the gameplay.
