Use the lightweight, snub-nose Makita® 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Sub-Compact Brushless Cordless Impact Driver, Tool Only, to tighten bolts and screws at tight angles. The impact driver has a variable two-speed transmission driven by an efficient BL™ brushless motor that puts out a max of 1,240 inch-pounds of torque, between 0 to 1,300 and 0 to 3,000 rpm and 0 to 1,600 and 0 to 3,900 ipm. Electronic speed controls sync torque and rpm efficiently to specific fastening applications. You can use socket or driver heads to tighten machined screws between 5/32 and 5/16 inch, standard bolts between 3/16 and 9/16 inch and high-tensile bolts between 3/16 and 1/2 inch. The Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion cordless impact driver is equipped with an impact-assist mode. An electric brake slows rotation when the trigger is released. The XPT™ protection system channels dirt and water away from the motor, expanding the tool's lifespan. The Makita sub-compact brushless impact driver features dual LED task lighting, a contoured soft rubber grip, three-way impact-mode indicator, and a hanging clip.
