Makita 1-9/16 In. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer

Bore holes into concrete and masonry and chisel up foundations, walkways, curbing and other structures with the electric-powered Makita® 1-9/16-Inch Rotary Hammer, Accepts SDS-MAX Bits. The rotary hammer works in either hammer-only or hammer-drill mode with a powerful 10-Amp motor with a max hammer rate of 2,500 bpm and a drilling rate of 680 rpm. The Makita 1-9/16-inch rotary hammer uses SDS-Max shank bits with a 1-9/16-inch drill capacity. Hammer-drill mode is equipped with sequential-impact timing that speeds up drilling by reducing overlapping impacts, and a depth limiter prevents over-drilling. A torque-limiting clutch disengages the gears automatically if a bit binds. Hammer impacts are turned off automatically during idle, and the hammer chisel has 12 different angle settings so you don't have to re-position yourself to the hammer target. The Makita electric rotary hammer is ergonomic, with internal ATV™ counterweights that minimize operating vibration as well as soft rubber grips.
