Signed by the author on the title page. First published in the USA by Doubleday in the same year. The boards are clean and bright. There is a dark tea stain to the fore edges of the pages - less than an inch long - with 5 small dot splashes further down. Pages otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has very slight browning to the spine but is otherwise near Fine. First printing.
