This K230CCR Traveler Klassic Boom Pole has a collapsed length of 4'2" (128cm) and an extended length of 19'4" (591cm) and only weighs 2.9lbs (1315g). This 6-section Traveler Boom pole features an Internal Coiled Cable. The top attachment is a 3/8" - 16 male thread and the bottom attachment is a Male 3-pin XLR Side Exit and Rubber bottom. K-Tek Traveler Klassic Boom Poles are constructed from high-density graphite selected for maximum strength and minimum weight. Eight layers of dent-proof graphite are precision ground and then burnished to produce a low handling-noise finish.Traveler Boom Poles are the perfect Boom Pole for frequent travelers and any situation where the Boom pole has to pack up small but still extend to long lengths; this is achieved by having more sections with a relatively short collapsed length. Telescoping sections are connected with their proprietary locking system. The captive collet is held within a collar. With just a gentle twist, the collar squeezes the collet to lock the pole in position. The collar has a aluminum sleeve studded with a unique dimple design that provides a pleasant touch and good grip under all conditions, even in extreme temperatures and humidity.The bottom coupling allows boom operators to attach a variety of accessories making all K-Tek Klassic Boom Pole modular.
