The IRWIN® SPEEDBOR® 3/4-Inch x 4-Inch Short Length Spade Bit combines excellent cutting speed with a shorter shaft, making it an ideal tool for boring holes in tight spaces. Patented Blue-Groove™ technology speeds chip removal and drilling speed, and the double cutting spurs on the edge of the bit scribe hole edges to reduce tearing. This Irwin flat drill bit has a 25 percent thicker shank and a 40 percent thicker cutting edge, features that significantly enhance its strength and service life. It also has a quick-change, 1/4-inch hex shank that fits standard and quick-change drill chucks. This Speedbor drill bit bores holes 3/4 of an inch in diameter and has a 4-inch shaft.
