Head and Tales

Linnet is a storyteller. When he is struck by a fever from which he knows he will die, he issues a macabre instruction to his First Born - to cut off his head and take it to their grandmother's. Along the way, the head tells seven tales. The author won the Carnegie Medal for "The Ghost Drum".
