Hall Research UH18 4K UHD Video & USB HDBaseT 2.0 Extender w/Sender & Receiver

The UH18 extends HDMI Video, USB, IR, and RS-232 on a single CAT6 cable to over 100 meters. It is perfect for allowing access to a PC from a remote user location and can be used to place the PC in a secure location away from the user station. The Sender provides local HDMI loop output as well as a USB hub so users can access the PC locally as well as from a remote station.The extender kit consists of a Sender (UH18-S) and Receiver (UH18-R). Power, USB, RS-232 and IR (remote) signals are extended on the same cable. The power supply can be connected at either end of the extender.The UH18 provides 18 Gbps video bandwidth and supports HDMI resolutions up to and including 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 (UHD). The Sender has a built in video splitter and features a convenient local HDMI video output connector.USB 2.0 extends from a USB host connected at the Sender. Both the Sender and the Receiver have USB hubs with two USB device ports for connecting USB devices such as a keyboard, mouse, touch screen, printer, flash drive, web cam or other USB 1.1/2.0 device.The extender kit also provides a user selectable "LONG REACH" mode. In this mode, the extender kit can support distances to 150 meters (500 feet) with a maximum resolution of 1920 x1080 (1080p).For extra convenience the remote receiver de-embeds HDMI audio and provides both analog (L/R stereo on 3.5mm jack) as well as digital SPDIF via RCA. This is a perfect for connecting a pair of speakers at the remote location using the Hall Research AMP-4840 audio amplifier.
