Add retro depth and detail to your designs and artwork with my textured Halftone Brushes and repeat patterns! --- Software compatibility - This product works with Illustrator CS1 to CC only. --- Halftones or screen-tones as they are sometimes called can be found when looking closely at many forms of printed material. The effect occurs when various sized dots of ink are overlaid to build up color and tone. This iconic look was not initially designed to be a feature but over time it's become a classic design aspect in it's own right. And now, with The Artifex Forge's Halftone Brushes you can 'paint' with this effect to create beautiful designs and illustrations! --- The front cover image was illustrated by the very talented Diana Hlevnjak of Polar Vectors - --- To use the brushes simply select a brush from the tab and draw with the brush tool. The color and width can be adjusted as required. Check out the video tutorial for more details - --- Here's what's include in the pack: The Brushes Scatter Halftone - The first 6 in the preview perfect for a messy screen-tone look. By adjusting the settings you can change the size, scatter and rotation or even make them pressure sensitive if you have a graphics tablet. Line Halftone - for a neater finish. These are basically pattern brushes but without the corner and end tiles. They distribute the screen-tones evenly along a stroke with minimal distortion. I've also included a pressure sensitive version of the brushes for tablet users. This works with Illustrator CS5 - CC. The Repeat Patterns These are supplied in black but you can adjust the colors using the 'Recolor artwork' menu Edit/Edit Colors/Re-color Artwork . An Example File The bird image.
