HP LTO4 Ultrium 1.6TB Read/Write Data Cartridge

The Hewlett-Packard - HP C7974A is an LTO-4 tape cartridge. The C7974A has an 800 GB native capacity and a 1.6 TB capacity compressed. The transfer rates to and from the C7974A tape are 120 MB/s native and 240 MB/s compressed, easily double the transfer speed of conventional hard disk drives. The cartridge shell of the C7974A LTO-4 tape is green in color and the tape is 820 meters of length. LTO-4 tapes such as the C7974A are only compatible with LTO-4 tape drives and auto-libraries only. The C7974A also features an AES 256-bit encryption, which ensures that whether your data is being shipped or is in storage, it is safe and secure.
