   Description
The benefits of a discrete decoder/DAC like the Gustard R26 is that it can take whatever digital audio files you've got on tap and bring them to your outputs with an attention to clean, detailed conversion and very little coloring. The R26 accomplishes this with native 1-bit DSD support, up to 32-bit, 768 kilohertz resolution and more-than-capable internal clock synthesization for evenness and next to no artifacts. This supports an analog output with 115 decibels of dynamic range, 134-decibel crosstalk, and less than 0.003% total harmonic distortion—all handled at less than 30 watts of power consumption. It's all run on an XMOS XU216 processor for plenty of headroom with MQA support for that extra little bit of oomph and detail in your recordings. There's even an ultra-sharp display with adjustable brightness for monitoring your outputs and controls accordingly. There are dual XLR outputs alongside traditional speaker outs, as well as USB, optical, coax, and XLR ports, plus a LAN port for future updates—delivering a truly full-featured stack of I/O.
