God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure video game with hack and slash mechanics that came out in 2022. Developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the game will be a sequel to 2018's God of War entry. The game will continue the story of Kratos and his son Atreus, both facing now the so-called Ragnarok, which is the end of all things prophecised in Norse mythology. As the father and son continue their journey, the forces of Asgard are preparing for war.
