God of War Ragnarök is an action-adventure video game with hack and slash mechanics that came out in 2022. Developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the game will be a sequel to 2018's God of War entry. The game will continue the story of Kratos and his son Atreus, both facing now the so-called Ragnarok, which is the end of all things prophecised in Norse mythology. PremiseFormer Spartan and his son, Atreus, travel through the Nine Realms of Norse mythology seeking answers about the boy's future as Loki and how to prevent the Ragnarok. As the father and son continue their journey, the forces of Asgard are preparing for war.
