Geode Natural Texture Pack

Have you been on the hunt for some high resolution textures that rock? Alright! So now that we're past that terrible pun, let's talk about what makes this pack so darn awesome. Natural geode textures like these are the perfect way to add a little bit of extra style to your work that lets you get some beautiful color combinations that all come from a natural source. They easily can make your packaging designs pop, or make for an incredible backdrop for some custom typography or illustrations. All of the included textures are presented the way they appeared when I scanned them in and touched them up a bit , but you can very easily use Hue/Saturation or your preferred method to change the colors of these textures to perfectly fit your needs. Inside this pack are 20 high resolution geode rock textures in .png format. All of these textures have a transparent background, so the fun task of masking them out has been done for you and they're good to go! The best part of them having a transparent background is it makes it very easy to make collages of these geodes in order to create your own custom looks. This not only looks super cool, but also allows you to build these textures out to be used at incredible size dimensions. Since these are scans of actual rocks they are all of different dimensions, but I selected one at random and the size was 4938 x 7907 pixels. That would be 16.46 x 26.36" @ 300 PPI. All of that is to say that these textures are really darn big. The large scale of these textures will help make them viable for design projects like packaging or other printable items. Because these are scans of actual rocks that have natural imperfections, I've found that these look best when used at roughly 50% of their full size scale or less as it naturally helps smooth the rock's imperfections out.
