The Generac® Home Standby Air-Cooled Generator Maintenance Kit comes with everything you need to perform basic maintenance, including an oil filter, air filter, wrench and spark plug, chamois, oil funnel and a reminder sticker. Perform standard maintenance every two years, or after 200 hours of running the generator. The Generac generator maintenance kit doesn't include oil, which you purchase based on the temperature range of your particular generator. The parts in this kit keep the generator running cleanly and help maintain a safe operating temperature. Write down the date of service on the reminder sticker so you know when your next maintenance is due.
