They organize an uprising against the Sanctum as they search for their given assignment and see if they can finish it without turning into crystals or monsters. Gameplay: To interact with characters, items, and adversaries throughout the Game, the player directly controls the on-screen character from a third-person perspective. The user can rotate the camera around the characters to have a full 360° view the surroundings. Unlike previous Final Fantasy games, which featured caricatures of the protagonists wandering around miniature landscapes, the world in Final Fantasy XIII is displayed to scale relative to the individuals who inhabit it. Instead, each place is proportionally depicted. Walking or riding a Chocobo lets the player move around the globe.
