A sorcerer has been crowned King in Azar, a wicked tyrant with a hunger for power and blood. The past fifteen years has been flooded with horror as he has swept from one providence to another to expand his territory. Even the Goddess Fantasy herself, has had trouble stemming the flow of blood. A final city and a final battle stands in the way of his victory. The great city of Gommorn is the last stronghold against him, a place for refugees and desperate men. The war is looming. All of this is distant to Oswald, a humble cobbler from a remote elven village. Until all at once he finds that the war is closer than he ever knew. Now he seems to be caught up in the tide of war threatening to drown the world in fire. But what could a cobbler do against tyrant wizards, demons, and mad assassins?
